- Sustainability ‘visioning workshop’ design and delivery for the senior management team of Leeds-based manufacturer Allied Glass, Carol was able to create their first sustainability action plan. This led to the company’s CSR venture with Groundwork and Leeds City Council, for reintroducing segregated clear glass waste collections for local re-use in the glass-making industry.
- Sustainable procurement training for the Department of Health, involving working with the central procurement team to develop targeted training materials, policy briefings and undertaking high level analyses of current procurement performance in relation to central government targets and KPIs.
- ‘Eco Design’ workshops for SMEs in the West Midlands, on behalf of Business Link West Midlands. Carol also designed and delivered a similar event for a joint Fenland Business Club and Resource Efficiency East (REE).
- Fleet carbon foot-print and forward-looking low emissions fleet strategy for Serco’s local government division operating 15 waste collection contracts.
