BREEAM COMMUNITIES PROJECTS
Chapleton of Elsick Sustainability and Infrastructure report This project involved developing a climate change ES chapter for a proposed new community near Aberdeen, plus the delivery of a sustainability workshop for the design team and development of a bespoke sustainability appraisal framework, based on the BREEAM Communities for Scotland tool. The first phase of construction is now underway.
BREEAM Communities master plan assessments for Ashill Developments Formal masterplan certificated Sustainability Assessments for 2 development sites to Interim stage in Eastleigh, Hampshire which were BRE Pilots for the new 2012 sustainability standard. Both have now been fully assessed and received final certificates:
Boorley Green, Eastleigh, Hampshire. A mixed use development with retail, health, education and housing spanning 83 hectares for Bloor Homes, Bovis Homes and Linden Homes consortium. 3 Phases of Reserved Matters submissions achieved BREEAM Communities "Excellent" rating.
Pylands Lane, Eastleigh, Hampshire. A 100% residential development over 21 hectares for Ashill Development Ltd. The masterplan achieved a Final Certificate rating of "Outstanding".
